Mountain Bike Trails and Rentals!
Trails
The Wolf River area in Wisconsin offers some of the best mountain and road biking in the upper Midwest . The Bear Paw trail system consists of logging roads and single track paths that lead through with a variety of northern hardwoods and old growth pines, down to the river. It is home to the Wolfman Triathlon and the Wisconsin Off Road Racing Series #11, Bear Paw Rock and Roll. Just across Highway 55, you will find the Nicolet Roche Mountain Bike Trail System. Considered by some to be the best trail in Wisconsin , this treasure of single-track is hidden away in the Nicolet-Chequamegon National Forest . It is currently 19 miles long with excellent flow that could only be found in a purpose-built mountain bike trail. It has drops, boulders, and challenging climbs built from the incredible natural features found in Northern Wisconsin . The trail's surroundings include lakes, springs, creeks, giant boulders, and dramatic tornado affected areas.
Rentals:
Bear Paw Outdoor Adventures rents mountain bikes with helmets. Cost is $15 half day, $25 full day. Reservations are helpful.

The Wolf offers everything from quiet calm water in the northern section to complex rapids in the southern sections.
