Canoe and Kayak Slalom Race on Saturday. This race is be part of the Buttercup series, and all kayakers are welcome to try in this fun citizen race. The Downriver Event will be held on Sunday, the course will be determined depending on water levels. Awards for each event will be held at the Bear Paw Pub after the races. $10 per day
- May 8 Wolf River Days sponsored by Wolf River Territory Tourism Association. A fun community event with activities for all ages.
- June 12-13 Bear Paw Outdoors Canoe and Kayak Sale days
Try out all the latest kayak models, from lake kayaks to whitewater river kayaking models. Sale on gear and boats!
- July 16-18 Women’s Whitewater Kayak Festival
Whitewater Kayaking Festival for women. Guest pro paddler Anna Lesvesque of Girls at Play along with other accomplished female instructors will offer clinics on everything from beginning kayaking, river running and rolling, to play paddling and creeking.
- August 7-8 Youth Kayaking Festival
This new 2 day event will celebrate kids and teens in Whitewater kayaking adventures. We will offer a variety of mini clinics geared for the young paddler, from beginner to advanced in skill level. Clinics will include: Beginning kayaking skills, river skills, Rolling and Playboating. Young kayakers will find inspiration and fun in this exciting weekend. Cost is $99 for the weekend, gear and lunches and a Saturday night cookout is included.
- August 21 Bear Paw Duathlon
Fun, challenging, no Frills Event which includes a 5 mile Mountain Bike Race, a 3.5 Mile Trail Run, and the 3 rd leg is a 5 mile Mountain Bike Race to the finish. Mass Start at 12:00 noon. Cost $15.00 Preregistration, $20 day of.
- August 22 Kid’s Wolfman Triathlon
Fun Event with a bike, obstacle course and run. Free event with prizes to the 1 st 100 entries. This event offers a unique opportunity for volunteers, family members and sponsors to encourage physical activity and establish life-long healthy foundation for kids.
- September 4 Campfire Jam Live music under the stars with Boyd Lee and Aimee Fischer.
- September 11 Wolfman Triathlon
- September 17-19 Estrogen Equinox
This annual women’s weekend is filled with adventure, fun and rejuvenation. Kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and relaxation along with crafts and camaraderie round out this very popular weekend. Great for mothers, daughters, friends and sisters. Hosted by Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort. Cost is $120 without meals: $160 with meals. 2010 Event Schedule coming soon.
